BOXI Interactive Launched

BOXI Interactive Launched

We finished up the site for the folks at BOXI Interactive and we waited a few weeks/months to launch.  BOXI was finally ready to launch things, so their new site is now live.  Huzzah. BOXI Interactive Before… What is there to really say about this website? It can be summed up pretty easily and the thousand words that this picture is worth will waste about 990 words.   Yup. That’s a website I suppose. BOXI Interactive After… As you can clearly see, we didn’t have much work to do to improve their old web presence. We still decided to do a lot of work anyway. Working with BOXI, designed and developed a modern, useful and importantly, scalable. Once Ally & Conquer is a huge success (fingers crossed), they will need a way to expand the site to include new games and properties. We succeeded in meeting their short term needs, while keeping in mind their long term growth. Overall, we’re pleased with how it turned out and BOXI Interactive is really happy with the solutions that we provided. See for yourself here: www.boxi.net  ...
Alison Rosen Is Our New Best Client

Alison Rosen Is Our New Best Client

This will be a quick one. Alison Rosen, who is our favorite podcaster, as host of our favorite podcast, needs a new website.  We reached out to see if we might be able to help her out.  We got down on a knee, proposed, and she said yes.  Killer. We are really excited about this project, as Alison and her brand are super fun.  The site will be a challenge to design for us, but we’re really looking forward to building this thing. Check out her current site here, download her podcast, Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend here, and stay tuned for the launch of her new site in a few months.  Unless we screw it up!...
McLube Division Is In Much Better Shape

McLube Division Is In Much Better Shape

A few months ago, McLube (disclaimer: we didn’t design that site) asked us for some Google AdWords help.  We took one look in their account, got very sad at the state of things, collected ourselves and got down to business. We assessed what they needed most, as they only wanted us to help out for three months, and decided that a complete overhaul was necessary.  We paused all of the current campaigns, dug into the keyword research, wrote new ads and organized everything into easily managed, effective campaigns.  We could regain you with the mechanics of what we did and how we did it, but we’d rather brag.  Here are the results of our very short three months of work for McLube. Shrunk their budget per month by $1,000.  That’s per month.  That’s 12 grand a year saved. That led to a decrease in Cost per Click of 44%.  Pretty good. With all of this saved money, surely the number of clicks decreased.  NOT SO.  We increased their total clicks by 15%.  Blammo. To summarize: we made their lives easier by creating a campaign organization system that makes logical sense, plus saved them money (lots of it) while increasing the efficacy of their campaigns.  They’re pretty happy with...
Metal Textiles Corporation Needs a New Website

Metal Textiles Corporation Needs a New Website

The good people of Metal Textiles Corporation, a company in New Jersey that manufactures, wait for it… textiles made of metal (among other things), have a very old and useless website.  They are great at what they do and have incredible clients like Boeing and Aston Martin and others, but their site is very bad. See? It’s a very bad website that needs a lot of help.  They reached out to their clients, and our old pals at Jackson Bond to see who designed and developed the new JBE site.  Well, we did.  Jackson Bond sent them our information and we came to an agreement: We will redesign their web experience, and they will pay us in custom fitted chain-mail.  Or American money.  Probably the latter. So, that in mind, we will get down to the business of organizing, redesigning, modernizing and other things that end in ‘ing’ until they have a great new website.  We’ll definitely post about it when it’s up, because we have a feeling it’ll be very good when it’s finished.  Or, at least, we might have some suits of armor by...
BOXI Interactive Needs Our Help

BOXI Interactive Needs Our Help

BOXI Interactive, an independent mobile game developer, has a pretty bad website. It conveys nothing and has no information. Granted, BOXI is a new company and doens’t have a game out yet, but still… They have come to us to help them create a website worthy of the awesome modern war strategy game, Ally & Conquer, they are building. We are really excited about this project, as who doesn’t like iPhone games? Their current site is here. We recommend you don’t go there unless you want to be sad about mobile gaming. We hope to make a site for them that makes you less sad.  Check them on facebook too, which is better than their website. Stay tuned…...
Jackson Bond Enterprises Gets A New Website

Jackson Bond Enterprises Gets A New Website

Our first real official client, Jackson Bond Enterprises, makes some incredible things.  They make custom carbon fiber and other woven materials that stand up to extreme environments.  Not like “Alaska” or “Sahara” extreme; more like “Re-entering the Earth’s Atmosphere Because We Made Something That’s on a Spacecraft” extreme. We are fascinated by what they do.  It’s really important and meaningful work that presents them with so many difficult engineering and mathematical challenges.  We at Moriarty & Adler are nowhere near smart enough to offer Jackson Bond any help with that stuff.  Luckily for us, they had no idea what they were doing with their website or brand. The Old Jackson Bond   What a beauty. Incredible. To give you an idea of how old their site was, take a look at that super nice maroon box towards the bottom middle/right of that image. It’s a visitor counter! AWESOME. Another good sign that folks don’t really care too much about their website is an out of date copyright in the footer. Most people will get around to updating it somewhere in the middle of the year. The good people at Jackson Bond, who are truly too busy doing awesome stuff, didn’t update theirs after 2009. The New Jackson Bond   We helped them murder that old site and drop it into an incinerator, only to be seen in the likes of The Way Back Machine. WE built Jackson Bond a modern, clean, beautiful website using WordPress (so they could keep it that way). We distilled the information about their business and products into easily read and navigated site content. We...
